Mission and Vision
Our mission is to teach businesses how to maximize sales, profitability, and branding—focusing on Amazon.com—by providing insights to help you better navigate your e-commerce presence.
Navazon’s experts are familiar with Amazon's terms, systems, and processes. We leverage our extensive knowledge about e-commerce to expand your company's reach online. As Amazon grows, it is becoming more difficult to reach Amazon employees for help, understand how to use Amazon systems, and react to changes. Navazon will teach you how to navigate Amazon and prepare for any changes that affect your business.
If you are not yet selling on Amazon, Navazon will get you started. If you’ve already established your business presence on Amazon and know you need guidance, Navazon can help you:
Enhance your online brand strategy
Draw insights from Amazon’s available data
By educating our clients and delivering high-level customer service tailored to each business, Navazon’s vision is to become the most respected e-commerce advisory consultancy in the world. Bridging knowledge gaps between online marketplaces and manufacturers is our specialty.
Alan Adams, President
Alan Adams founded Navazon Consulting in 2015 to capture opportunities and boost profits for manufacturers engaging with the world's largest e-commerce retailer, Amazon.com.
Prior to founding Navazon, Alan was a Senior Category Manager at Amazon.com for 4 years. He managed a $320 million Amazon business, working with nearly 800 vendors with over 74,000 products. He delivered 45% year-over-year revenue growth by adding 1000s of new products, beating his sales goals by 30%. He built the first two-week onboarding training program for Amazon.com’s North American retail business employees.
His professional background spans both commercial and military enterprises. Prior to joining Amazon.com, he held senior positions at Google and supporting the BP Oil Spill cleanup, where he helped to deliver over $155 million dollars in expense reductions.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Alan served multiple combat tours over Iraq and Afghanistan as a KC-135 pilot and spearheaded a program that enabled the U.S. Air Force to reduce air refueling costs by more than $137 million dollars a year, increase combat effectiveness and reduce risk.
Alan holds a MBA from the University of Iowa, a Masters in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a BS in Management from the United States Air Force Academy.
Alan is the founder of Inspiring Excellence, a Seattle-based non-profit with a mission to encourage enthusiasm for science. A trained rescue diver and private pilot, he enjoys scuba diving and flying in his spare time.
