Alan founded Navazon Consulting to put his expertise to work for manufacturers. Prior to joining Navazon, Jim was a Senior Vendor Manager at Amazon for 2.5 years. Jim managed the Industrial Tools & Instruments category, delivering over 20% growth annually and managing over 200 vendors and 100,000 products. Jim also led the 2017 and 2018 Annual Vendor Negotiations (AVN) process for Amazon’s Industrial & Scientific division, and now helps Navazon’s clients navigate this process with Amazon.

In addition to his Amazon experience, Jim founded an online distribution company and spent 4 years at 3M in both Corporate Strategy and product marketing roles. His experience covers the entire product lifecycle, from “Voice of Customer” market research to development, testing, product launch and warehousing/shipping inventory.
