During his time as a former Senior Category Manager at Amazon.com Alan managed $320 million in business with over 750 vendors and more than 74,000 products. As the Senior Program Manager of Retail Leadership Development, he created Amazons first two-week on-boarding program.
Alan founded Navazon Consulting to put his expertise to work for manufacturers. Navazon helps businesses optimize their catalogs, develop marketing and promotional strategies, and increase profitability in the world's largest e-commerce market. In Navazon's learning seminars, Alan teaches some of the strategies that we have developed internally to help your business succeed.

Prior to joining Navazon, Jim was a Senior Vendor Manager at Amazon for 2.5 years. Jim managed the Industrial Tools & Instruments category, delivering over 20% growth annually and managing over 200 vendors and 100,000 products. Jim also led the 2017 and 2018 Annual Vendor Negotiations (AVN) process for Amazon’s Industrial & Scientific division, and now helps Navazon’s clients navigate this process with Amazon.
In addition to his Amazon experience, Jim founded an online distribution company and spent 4 years at 3M in both Corporate Strategy and product marketing roles. His experience covers the entire product lifecycle, from “Voice of Customer” market research to development, testing, product launch and warehousing/shipping inventory.
